Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers sold Dominic Iorfa to Championship outfit Sheffield Wednedsay in the January transfer window.

Sheffield Wednesday manager Steve Bruce has revealed that the Championship outfit paid just £200,000 to sign Dominic Iorfa during the January transfer window, while speaking to the Star.
The 23-year-old had spent the last six years at Wolverhampton Wanderers but was well down the pecking order at Molineux, failing to make a single Premier League appearance under Nuno Espirito Santo while spending the 2017/18 season on loan at Ipswich Town.
So there was little surprise when Iorfa brought an end to his spell at Wolves on the final day of the January transfer window. The former England U21 international joined Sheffield Wednesday on a permanent basis, although the fee was initial undisclosed.
Not any more, however. Bruce, who took over from Jos Luhukay at Hillsborough three months ago, claims that The Owls paid a minor sum to sign a player who looks like a real bargain buy in today’s market.
“I do think recruitment is a crucial part of any club,” the former Aston Villa boss said.

“As I have said, the chairman has bought into that and we have already seen the benefits. We have got two loan players and bought (Dominic) Iorfa for £200,000 so therein lies the proof.”
Iorfa has made 11 Championship appearances for Wednesday so far, scoring three goals while standing out either at centre-half or right-back.
He shone in Monday’s 2-0 win against Bristol City with one fan describing him as the ‘bargain of the century’.
