Scottish Premiership giants Celtic are reportedly rivalling four Premier League clubs for Middlesbrough’s Championship centre-back Dael Fry.

On paper, Dael Fry is a perfect fit for Celtic.
A hugely promising 21-year-old centre-back, the Middlesbrough starlet not only possesses the intelligent positional sense to improve a shaky Hoops back-line, he is also very confident with the ball at his feet and renowned for his ability to stride forward into midfield with purpose.
No wonder Brendan Rodgers is licking his lips about the prospect of bringing Fry to Glasgow, according to TEAMtalk, with Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea and Bournemouth also understood to be interested.

Though it seems that news of Celtic’s interest has not exactly struck the fear of god into Middlesbrough fans.
The Scottish Premiership has its fair share of detractors and it seems that many of those are resident to the North East town with many fans arguing on Twitter that a move to Celtic would represent a step down from the second tier of English football.
Though this conveniently overlooks the fact that Fry could play European football north of the border, and challenge for domestic silverware to boot.
Celtic look like one club who could take Fry to the next level so Boro fans perhaps shouldn’t be so confident to rule this out.
