Greek international goalkeeper Kapino played just four Championship games for Nottingham Forest before moving to the Bundesliga with Werder Bremen.

The Greek international goalkeeper spent just six months at the City Ground after all, failing to see out the year-and-a-half contract he signed when joining from Olympiakos on a free transfer in the winter of 2018.
But Kapino made just four Championship appearances in Forest colours, keeping clean sheets against Bristol City and Barnsley, before leaving to join Werder Bremen in August.
Yet if the 25-year-old thought his opportunities were limited at Forest, perhaps Bremen was not the right destination. After all, Florian Kohfeldt’s side already had one of the Bundesliga’s best goalkeepers in Czech Republic international Jiri Pavlenka.
And, with just a few league games remaining in 2018/19, there is a very real chance that Kapino could reach the end of his first season in Germany without making a single appearance for Werder Bremen.
He missed the first few months of the campaign with a tendon problem but has been forced to settle for a place on the bench in each of Bremen’s last 13 games.
It would be little surprise if Kapino was on the move yet again in the summer.
