Celtic reportedly want Killie’s Scottish Premiership left-back Greg Taylor to replace Kieran Tierney.

Celtic have £25 million in the bank and Kilmarnock know it.
So why on earth would they sell Greg Taylor for a pittance, just days after the Scottish Premiership champions sold Kieran Tierney to Arsenal for a massive sum?
According to the Daily Record, Celtic scout Tosh McKinlay watched Taylor in action during Killie’s 2-0 defeat to Hamilton over the weekend with the youngster apparently valued at around £1 million.
So no wonder Kilmarnock fans are a little confused. Yes, Tierney was by far the best full-back anywhere in Scotland and one of the most promising in his position anywhere in European football but Taylor is hardly short of potential either.

At just 21, the former Rangers youngster has already made over 100 league appearances for the Ayrshire outfit with his pace and swashbuckling style earning him plenty of admirers. Rugby Park faithful are a little worried about the prospect of Taylor leaving on the cheap and that is no surprise.
With Celtic desperate for a left-back and hardly short of cash, this is the perfect time to eke every single penny out of the champions.
