Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are reportedly hoping to bring Bruno Fernandes to the Premier League from Portuguese outfit Sporting Lisbon.

Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes has stated that his focus remains on winning trophies with the Primeira Liga outfit when asked about a potential move to Liverpool, as reported by JN.
Liverpool have emerged as a potential destination for the Portuguese international midfielder according to the Mirror with reports in his homeland (via Correao de Manha) claiming Sporting might be forced to sell their influential captain for financial reasons.
Fernandes has been in outstanding form this season, scoring 22 goals while producing another 11 assists under the former Ajax boss Marcel Keizer.
But, while being interrogated about a summer switch to Anfield, the 24-year-old did not sound like a player looking for the exit.
“I’m in a good moment. It’s important to score goals, but what I care about is helping the team,” he told JN

“I have returned and now I want to win even more titles, I know the size of Sporting and I am not satisfied with just two League Cups.”
A Bola claimed in January that Fernandes, who could potentially be the man to replace Philippe Coutinho’s creativity in the heart of Liverpool’s midfield, has a £90 million release clause in his contract but Sporting could be willing to let him go for nearer £35 million during the summer transfer window.
Such a fee would put him well within Liverpool’s budget, with Jurgen Klopp’s side spending big in recent seasons.
