West Brom want Oumar Niasse and Everton want Salomon Rondon so could the Premier League rivals strike a deal to suit both parties this January?

Everton want a West Bromwich Albion striker this month. And, if reports are to be believed, The Baggies are also keen on taking a centre-forward from Goodison Park.
Coincidentally, both players would cost around the same price. So is there a genuine chance that a swap deal involving Salomon Rondon and Oumar Niasse could take place before the January window slams shut?
Maybe. It would certainly suit all parties.

Everton have spent big on Cenk Tosun and Theo Walcott this month but the Venezuelan, who famously scored a hat-trick of headers in a 2016 win against Swansea City, would give Sam Allardyce the direct threat that he so famously embraces.
At the other end of the pitch, however, Niasse did his very best to take the limelight away from Rondon last weekend. And he did just that, snatching an equaliser with an opportunist volley seconds after coming off the bench.

Niasse has established himself in Everton’s squad this season with six goals in five league starts but, with Allardyce looking for alternatives, he could find himself slipping out of contention very soon.
The Guardian states that West Brom wanted to hand the £13 million-rated Senegal international a lifeline and they could get their man if they were willing to offer Rondon as part of the deal.
Swaps are in vogue this month so Everton and West Brom should perhaps take inspiration from Arsenal and Manchester United.
