Scottish Premiership giants Rangers face a challenge holding on to star striker Alfredo Morelos and have suddenly targeted Swansea City’s Oli McBurnie.

Alfredo Morelos’s future at Ibrox has never been more in doubt.
Just last week, the Colombian striker hinted that he would be keen on a move to the Premier League at the end of this season. And now Rangers have a really difficult decision on their hands, with a number of big-money offers arriving on their doorstep from China.
Sky Sports claims that Beijing Renhe have made a second offer worth £8 million for Morelos. And it is understood that the 21-year-old, who is the Scottish Premiership top scorer with 11 goals, is keen to discuss a move to the Far East as he is not one of Rangers’ better paid players.

So while manager Graeme Murty has insisted that he wants to keep the former HJK Helsinki forward for the rest of the season, it is not beyond the realms of possibility that Morelos could be on his way out of Ibrox after just a few months in Scotland.
And reports in the Daily Record that Rangers have suddenly expressed an interest in signing Swansea City striker Oli McBurnie on loan may have supporters worried that the hugely promising Morelos could indeed be on his way.

The 6ft 2ins McBurnie could be seen as an ideal cheap and quick fix replacement for Morelos, and it hardly seems coincidental that Rangers have suddenly opened talks with the Scotland Under-21 international with interest in Morelos rising.
Maybethey are looking to sign the youngster to give them additional fire-power, or perhaps he could be a lot more important than that.
