Dan Barlaser has played three times for Premier League side Newcastle United and impressed with League One outfit Accrington Stanley on Tuesday night.

Accrington Stanley, who are they? Well, they are the club who are turning Dan Barlaser into a hugely exciting prospect.
The 21-year-old Gateshead-born midfielder is one of the most promising young talents in a Newcastle United academy who simply haven’t produced enough homegrown prospects for the first-team in recent seasons.
Rafa Benitez does appear to be a fan of Barlaser, however. The former Turkey U17 ace has made three appearances for The Magpies’ senior side, having made his debut in an FA Cup victory over Birmingham City in January 2017.
And, judging by how popular he is right now with the Accrington supporters, his progress should not be going unnoticed at St James’ Park.

Barlaser opened his account for Stanley at the seventh time of asking in Tuesday’s 4-1 Checkatrade Trophy thrashing of Macclesfield, finishing off a Barcelona-esque team move with a wonderful finish which, in the eyes of some, has shades of Tottenham legend Ricky Villa.
Now, Newcastle fans would love to cheer on one of their own from the terraces. So they will be hoping that Barlaser can keep the magic coming over the next few months.
