Premier League duo West Ham United and West Bromwich Albion are both keen on Trabzonspor’s ‘New Busquets’ Okay Yokuslu.

Trabzonspor might have struggled in the Super Lig this season but the same cannot be said about their midfielder Okay Yokuslu.
The 24-year-old Turkish international has been one of the stand out performers in the division – though it appears unlikely that Yokuslu will be playing football in his homeland for too much longer.
It is West Brom, however, who have been most heavily tied to Yokuslu over the last few months.

And while fans of West Ham and West Brom might be a little underwhelmed by a relatively unknown player who, at £7 million, would perhaps look like a cheap alternative to many of the bigger-name, more illustrious midfield targets linked with The Hawthorns and the London Stadium over the last few months.
But if you need an indication of Yokuslu’s quality, AS dubbing him ‘the new Busquets’ may be enough.

After all, Sergio Busquets’ is one of the most gifted defensive midfielders of his generation with six La Liga titles, five Copa Del Reys, three Champions Leagues, a European Championship and a World Cup winner’s medal on his silver-coated CV.
If Yokuslu proves to be even a fraction as talented, that £7 million fee would look a snip.
