Tottenham Hotspur could have a dilemma if Lucas Moura signs.
Tottenham Hotspur winger Erik Lamela has been linked with a move to former side Roma, according to Italian outlet LaRoma24.
£25.8 million signing Lamela has just returned to fitness and an exit could be a somewhat of a surprise – but Lucas Moura’s potential arrival may make it necessary.
This is because of constraining UEFA rules which impose a limit on non homegrown players in the Champions League.
They are not helped by UEFA classifying Eric Dier as a foreigner as he came through Sporting’s academy in Portugal.
Lamela was left out of Tottenham’s squad for the group stages, but space has been created for him thanks to Georges-Kevin N’Koudou being sent on loan to Burnley.

There are other options of course, and a more popular solution among fans would be for Moussa Sissoko to be sold, but this is more easier said than done, and he appears to be in favour with manager Mauricio Pochettino.
