Spurs have been linked with a £15m move to bring Sander Berge to the Premier League and he shone for Genk against Sarpsborg on Thursday.

Plenty of eyes were on Sander Berge on Thursday night as Genk took on Sarpsborg in their final Europa League group stage game of the season.

The 20-year-old Norwegian is expected to be a man on the move in the January transfer window, which is now hurtling into view and just a fortnight away. TEAMtalk claimed in November that Tottenham Hotspur are leading the race for Berge’s signature, despite the fact that he’s attracting interest from almost half of the Premier League.

And any watching Spurs fans were given an enticing glimpse into the future on Thursday night.

Because Berge was outstanding in what could be one of his final games in Genk colours, earning a place in the Europa League Team of the Week by scoring one and assisting another in a 4-0 thrashing of their Norwegian opponents.

He looked every inch a player worthy of his £15 million price-tag, as reported by Bleacher Report.

And Berge’s performance drew plenty of praise on social media, including from a couple of Tottenham fans who were clearly very impressed by what they saw from a man who could be their next Mousa Dembele.
