Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen to sign Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic in the summer transfer window.

There are two sides to Aleksandar Mitrovic. There is the brilliant striker, a fearsome aerial presence capable of bullying more experienced defenders into submission.
But then there is the hot-headed player who has made the headlines for the wrong reasons far too often during his time in English football.
Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino came into contact with both Jekyll and Hide as he suffered his ‘worst day as a manager’ in May 2016, as reported by the BBC.
Spurs were second in the Premier League table heading into the final day of the 2015/16 season. But, 90 minutes later, they had slipped behind bitter rivals Arsenal into third after a humiliating 5-1 defeat to a Newcastle side that had been relegated just weeks earlier.

Mitrovic was at the heart of the drama. The Serbian international scored Newcastle’s second with a clinical finish before being sent off in the second half for a stamp on Kyle Walker; an offence that earned him a four-match ban.
So Pochettino should know exactly what to expect from Mitrovic, with TEAMtalk reporting that Spurs are hoping to sign him this summer, having seen Fulham reject their £27 million bid in January.
Fortunately, Mitrovic appears to have put that temperamental streak behind him at Craven Cottage while netting 10 league goals for his struggling side. Perhaps even more impressively, he has been booked just six times in 32 games for club and country.
