Rangers reportedly want to bring left-back Greg Taylor back to Ibrox from Scottish Premiership rivals Kilmarnock.

Greg Taylor has plenty of history with Rangers.
The Scotland international left-back spent six years in the Gers’ academy after all, before being released and joining Scottish Premiership rivals Kilmarnock. He was, as the old cliché goes, just ‘too small’.
Though it’s fair to say Taylor has shown Rangers what they’re missing while making his name at Rugby Park. The 21-year-old is now one of the most highly-rated full-backs in the league and, according to the Daily Record, Rangers would love to bring him back to Ibrox.
With Celtic and Hull City also keen, and with his £400,000 price tag set to rise after his first international outing against Belgium, the Glasgow giants have a real battle on their hands.
Taylor himself isn’t one to back away from a battle, however. Back in August 2016, he was sent off for a horrific lunging tackle on one-time Rangers midfielder Joey Barton – a challenge he himself admitted was a ‘moment of madness’.

“I’m not a malicious person. Obviously I’d made a mistake but I just have to learn from it,” Taylor said, speaking to the Scottish Sun.
Taylor has matured since then and, at the age of 21, would walk into this current Rangers team who have struggled at left-back all season.
