Rangers reportedly want Timm Klose but will he play Premier League football with Norwich City instead?

Timm Klose has made a decision on his future at Norwich City according to the Eastern Daily Press, and it is not good news for reported suitors Rangers.
The giant centre-back emerged as a target for Steven Gerrard’s side recently with the Sun (28 April, page 59) reporting that the Gers were hoping to snap him up on a free when his Norwich contract expired at the end of the season.
6ft 4ins Klose was expected to replace either Joe Worrall or Gareth McAuley at Ibrox with the Glasgow giants in need of defensive reinforcements. But it seems that Gerrard and co will miss out on the 16-time Switzerland international.
Because the Eastern Daily Press has reported on Wednesday morning that Klose is instead set to extend his contract at Carrow Road after Norwich sealed their return to the Premier League.

The former Wolfsburg defender, who joined The Canaries for £8.5 million (Mail), played 31 games as Daniel Farke’s side stormed to the Championship title. And the report adds that Klose has no interest in walking away now with Premier League football within his grasp.
Fortunately for Rangers, however, they do appear to be closing in on a deal for another experienced centre-back, Rennes’ Mozambique international Edson Mexer (Daily Record).
