Premier League rivals and Champions League finalists Spurs and Liverpool are reportedly keen to sign Bayer Leverkusen’s Bundesliga hotshot Julien Brandt.

We should know exactly where Julian Brandt will be playing his football next season by the end of the week with Bayer Leverkusen’s sporting director Ruud Voller admitting to Sky that an announcement is imminent.
The 23-year-old has long been viewed as one of Germany’s brightest young talents and he reinforced his reputation with an exceptional second half of the season under Peter Bosz at the Bay Arena.
Brandt ended the campaign with 10 goals and 17 assists, firing Leverkusen into the Champions League via a final day 5-1 battering of Hertha Berlin.
According to The Mail, Tottenham Hotspur are very aware of the £21.5 million release clause in his contract, especially with the future of Christian Eriksen uncertain.
Mauricio Pochettino’s Champions League final opponents Liverpool have also been linked with ESPN claiming that Anfield is amongst the forward’s most likely destinations.
And Voller’s comments suggest that Tottenham and Liverpool could find out if they will get their man by the end of the week.

“We know exactly which clubs have knocked [for Brandt],” the former Germany coach told Sky. “Brandt has some requests, and in the next five, six or seven days there will be a decision.”
Fortunately for Leverkusen, Voller did point out that he expects 19-year-old talisman Kai Havertz, who has also been linked with plenty of Premier League clubs, to stay in Germany.
