Championship hopefuls Leeds United are reportedly set to re-sign Jack Harrison from Premier League champions Manchester City.

Depending on which side of the fence you’re sitting, Leeds United’s first signing of the summer will either be a major boost or a big disappointment.
According to Leeds Live, Jack Harrison is expected to return to Elland Road later this week for a second loan spell at the West Yorkshire giants from Manchester City.
The former Middlesbrough and Manchester United winger certainly had a mixed time under Marcelo Bielsa in 2018/19 but, while the winger proved to be ineffective far often than not, there were the odd glimpses of Premier League quality. That wonderful assist in the play-offs against Derby County in particular will live long in the memory.
And, make no mistake, Harrison’s return is a more impressive deal than it will probably get credit for.

Because, as recently as May, the Sun reported that a number of Premier League clubs were keen to sign the former England U21 international. What’s more, Manchester City decided that he was worth an eye-watering £20 million.
So regardless of whether you think Harrison is a valuable addition or merely a waste of space, Leeds would deserve a lot of credit for snapping up a £20 million-rated attacker with plenty of Premier League suitors.
Yet it helps when Pep Guardiola thinks that your manager is the greatest thing since mankind learned how to slice bread.
