Everton have reportedly held talks with Adrien Rabiot about a potential move for the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder.

Adrien Rabiot might have to work twice as hard to win over Everton supporters.
And not just because of the much-publicised attitude problems and the ongoing controversy surrounding a refusal to extend his Paris Saint-Germain contract, a dispute that has seen him exiled from first-team action since December.
A bigger problem, you could argue, is that Rabiot is a self-confessed Liverpool fan.
“I would love to play in the Premier League. There’s not necessarily any club in particular, even though when I was young I was a big Liverpool fan,” the France international told RMC Sport back in October 2017.
According to Le10 Sports, Rabiot could indeed be on his way to Merseyside this summer – but on the blue side of Stanley Park.

The report claims that Everton have held talks with the 24-year-old who, despite all his problems off the field, remains one of the Europe’s most promising, elegant central midfielders around and one of the few players within the Toffees’ reach who could be considered an upgrade on Andre Gomes in the position.
But Rabiot, who is never one to keep his opinions to himself no matter how contentious, is probably better served keeping his Anfield admiration quiet ahead of what could be one of the most eye-catching Everton transfers in the 21st century.
