With Cheikhou Kouyate and Max Meyer heading to Selhurst Park, do Premier League outfit Crystal Palace still need to sign Fenerbahce’s Josef de Souza?

It is three days now since Haber7 claimed that Crystal Palace had agreed a deal to sign Josef de Souza from Fenerbahce. But there remains no official confirmation that the Brazilian is on his way to the Premier League.
However, if Palace do still want to sign the midfielder, then they have presented a golden opportunity by the Turkish giants.
It was reported by Haber7 that Fenerbahce want to sell the 29-year-old in order to avoid potential Financial Fair Play sanctions while freeing up funds to bring in a much-needed centre-forward.
And new reports from Sabah are claiming that the 2018 Super Lig runners-up are now stepping up their attempts to sell Souza this summer.
It is reported that he, alongside star forward Guiliano, have been placed on the transfer list with new manager Phillip Cocu, who arrived in Istanbul after winning three Eredivisie titles in four years with PSV, aiming to bring in new recruits.

So if Palace want Souza, there is nothing stopping them signing him – although it remains to be seen whether they will now press ahead with a deal with Max Meyer seemingly set to join the £9.5 million Cheikhou Kouyate at Selhurst Park.
Takvim reported on Wednesday that Fenerbahce would ideally want £15 million for a player who has won three caps for Brazil.
