Celtic reportedly want to bring Robert Gumny to the Scottish Premiership after a fine breakthrough season in Poland with Lech Poznan.

Celtic target Robert Gumny enhanced his growing reputation with a first call-up for the senior Poland squad during this month’s international break, an achievement that left the defender thrilled in quotes reported by Sportowy.
The 20-year-old right-back has made his breakthrough with Lech Poznan this season, playing ten games for the Ekstraklasa outfit to allegedly catch the eye of the Scottish Premiership champions.
According to Gazeta Wyborcza, Celtic were willing to pay £4.3 million for Gumny during the January transfer window.
Poznan, who look set to embark on a huge summer overhaul, are willing to sell but they want closer to £6.8 million (Sportowy).
This would make Gumny the most expensive export in the history of the Polish top flight, behind the Southampton centre-back Jan Bednarek.
But the youngster might have added a few more pennies to his price-tag by earning a first call-up for the senior Poland squad for their Euro 2020 qualifiers against Austria and Latvia.

“Being promoted to the senior squad is a pleasant surprise,” Gumny said.
“The competition is big but I will do my best.”
Gumny is one of many promising right-backs who have been linked with Celtic in recent months, with the club aiming to solve their ongoing problem position.
Jeremy Toljan is on loan from Borussia Dortmund but Celtic do not have an option to buy him, while Mikael Lustig has been linked with a return to Sweden.
