West Ham United reportedly wanted Alexandre Mlinde in the Premier League in the summer of 2017.

Cast your mind back to August 2017 West Ham United fans.
According to FootMercato, The Hammers were keeping tabs on a little-known French youngster by the name of Alexandre Mlinde.
A prolific, 17-year-old striker who played for AS Minguettes, an amateur side based in a suburb of Lyonnais, Mlinde had scored 21 goals in 22 games in the 2016/17 season and another 35 the campaign before that.
To say he is efficient in front of the net doesn’t quite cover it.
By the time the transfer window slammed shut, however, West Ham failed to secure a deal to bring Mlinde to the London Stadium. And the trail has grown cold since.
But, in an intriguing Instagram post over the weekend, Mlinde has been pictured with a West Ham badge on his chest.
Does this mean the teenage striker has completed a move to The Hammers, a year-and-a-half after he was first linked? Well, there has been no official confirmation yet from Manuel Pellegrini’s side but it certainly seems that Mlinde is a West Ham player at long last.
