Mario Lemina is reportedly a target for Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolverhampton Wanderers with Premier League rivals Saints keen to sell.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in offering Mario Lemina a route out of Southampton this summer, according to Sky Sports.
With just a few weeks until the transfer window slams shut, it seems that Wolves are intent on strengthening a midfield which is hardly short of quality already.
But with the Europa League likely to test the depth of Wolves’ squad, Nuno Espirito Santo needs some added competition for Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho, Leander Dendoncker and Romain Saiss.
£18 million Gabon international Lemina is free to leave Southampton this summer after being left out of The Saints’ pre-season tour, according to the Times, with Manchester United and Arsenal understood to be interested.

A Gabon international who has played at the top level for Juventus and Marseille, Lemina is a superb passer of the ball who’s also particularly fond of a tackle. He’d fit in perfectly in Nuno’s preferred two-man midfield, offering the ability to cover the ground and control the tempo effectively.
Sky adds that Wolves also have an interest in 20-year-old Lille enforcer Boubakary Soumare but, with the Frenchman valued at a staggering £40 million, the more proven and experienced Lemina represents far greater value for money.
