Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly targeting Lyon’s Houssem Aouar and Tanguy Ndombele, as well as Marseille’s Morgan Sanson.

Lyon have produced some truly world-class footballers in the last decade or so, and the early signs suggest that Tanguy Ndombele and Houssem Aouar are already en route to the top of the world game.
The midfield duo have been a revelation in Ligue 1 since forcing their way into the Lyon team at the start of last season, attracting attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs as a result.
According to Le10 Sport, both Aouar and Ndombele have plenty of admirers in the Black Country, too. It is understood that Wolverhampton Wanderers are very interested in two of France’s rising stars, with the January transfer window just weeks away.
French U21 ace Aouar is a languid and creative central midfielder while Ndombele has earned rave reviews for his power, passing range and ability to dominate the game from central midfield.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Ndombele is valued at a mammoth £62 million.

Le 10 Sports adds that a third Ligue 1 midfielder is also on Wolves’ radar: the dynamic Marseille star Morgan Sanson.
The 24-year-old is renowned for his cutting edge and ability to open up opposition defences, having scored four goals and assisted four more in all competitions this season.
Unfortunately, however, it is understood that Sanson is keen to stay at Marseille and is already in discussions over extending his contract.
