Wolverhampton Wanderers continue to be linked with AC Milan’s Andre Silva but is he heading to the Premier League and Molineux?

Wolverhampton Wanderers have been linked with Andre Silva since way back in January and it seems that the crucial opportunity is about to arrive.
There has been plenty of speculation over whether Silva would look to stay at AC Milan past this summer, after a dreadful debut season in Serie A that cost him his starting place for Portugal at the World Cup.
The 22-year-old moved to the San Siro for £33 million from Porto in 2017 but managed just seven Serie A starts and a single goal in Italy’s top flight.
Calciomercato is now reporting that Silva has made a decision about his future, and it is understood that he has chosen to bring an end to his stay at the Milan giants.

And the report adds that Wolverhampton Wanderers are one of two clubs in the running along with La Liga outfit Valencia. Silva’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has played a key role in transfers at both Molineux and the Mestalla in recent years.
The Birmingham Mail adds that Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo is believed to be keen on a reunion with a striker who scored 21 goals in 44 games under his management during the 2017/18 season at Porto.
But Wolves would have to shatter their transfer record with Milan hoping to recoup as much of Silva’s fee as possible.
