Ahmed Musa was a massive disappointment at Leicester City.

The Nigerian international arrived at the King Power from CSKA Moscow for a hefty £16 million fee in the summer of 2016 as Leicester looked to kick-on following their remarkable Premier League title triumph, as reported by the BBC.

But Musa proved to be one of the biggest disappointments of the season, managing just two goals and seven league starts. As a result, the 25-year-old was farmed out on loan to CSKA during the recent January transfer window.

So reports in Turkey suggesting that Wolverhampton Wanderers have made a bid for Musa will come as a surprise.

Sabah is stating that Musa has no future at Leicester but has been given the chance to revive his Premier League career with Wolves, and could therefore be interested in a return to England once his second spell in the Russian capital comes to an end.

It is understood that Turkish league leaders Galatasaray are currently at the front of the queue for the 2014 World Cup star. But Wolves have pulling power and money to match and could tempt Musa with the chance to prove himself in English football.

In fairness, the former VVV Venlo speedster was impressive since returning to CSKA four months ago. He scored five goals in nine domestic fixtures and helped the club reach the quarter-finals of the Europa League, causing no end of problems away to Arsenal.
