Raul Jimenez has scored four Premier League goals since arriving at Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan from Benfica.

Raul Jimenez might not have been prolific since moving to the Premier League but he is showing that he is perfect for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Mexican international has scored four goals in 14 league games, including one in Wednesday’s 2-1 comeback win against Chelsea. But he has also added four assists to his tally, with his hold-up play and intelligent movement getting the best out of his attacking teammates.
According to O Jogo, Wolves have now made a call about whether they want to retain the Benfica loanee beyond this season. And it is good news for Jimenez’s fan club.
It is understood that Wolves have already decided that they want to make the striker’s loan deal permanent and keep him at Molineux for the foreseeable future. And it seems that the Black Country side are willing to shatter their transfer record by paying Benfica around £33 million.

Whether Jimenez is worth such a huge fee remains to be seen, as is whether Wolves will pay either in January or at the end of the season.
But, while his goal-scoring record is far from outstanding, no one can question his importance to this Wolves team.
