Championship outfit Reading are desperate to keep Danny Loader but Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly moving fast.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have entered talks to sign Reading starlet Danny Loader as they look to snap up one of the most exciting young players in the Football League, according to Sky Sports (live blog, 9.11am).
Wolves might have bought a series of established internationals since Fosun completed their takeover of the Black Country club all the way back in 2016, from Ruben Neves to Rui Patricio, Joao Moutinho to Raul Jimenez.
But Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have also been working quietly to bring in some of the most exciting prospects around too. They paid around £20 million for Lazio duo Pedro Neto and Bruno Jordao last week while 20-year-old Renat Dadashov arrived from Estoril too.
And Loader is another exciting attacker on Wolves’ radar. An 18-year-old England U20 international, Loader has risen through the ranks at Reading and made 21 appearances in the Championship last season.

Get Reading reported on Wednesday that The Royals were determined to hold onto their prized asset but it seems that Loader is edging closer to a move away from the Madejski as Wolves enter talks.
Loader is unlikely to play first-team football under Nuno any time soon and will probably join the U23s or spent the remainder of the season out on loan elsewhere.
But their interest in the Reading-born forward is another sign that Wolves are planning not only for the present but for the future too.
