Super Lig side Besiktas hold all the cards but Championship leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers still want to bring Anderson Talisca to England.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have been linked with Anderson Talisca for almost two years now, but the links just keep on coming.
Talisca joined Besiktas from Benfica on a two-year loan deal instead but, after an excellent spell in Turkey, it seems that Wolves have revived their interest in the 24-year-old.

What is clear, however, is that Besiktas want to keep Talisca in Turkey. In two years, the Benfica loanee has won the Super Lig title and helped the Istanbul giants to the knock-out stages of the Champions League, scoring 35 goals in all competitions along the way.

But Fotomac adds that Wolves have not given up and have even contacted Talisca’s agent, Carlos Leite, only to be reminded that the deal is very much in Besiktas’s hands as things stand.
If Wolves do manage to snatch the versatile forward from under the Turkish side’s noses, however, the £18 million fee would exceed the £15.8 million club-record fee they paid for Ruben Neves last summer.
This would be one hell of a statement signing, with Wolves’ return to the Premier League confirmed at the weekend.
