Diego Llorente’s impressive form in La Liga has apparently caught the eye of Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have failed with a £23 million bid for Real Sociedad defender Diego Llorente, according to Mundo Deportivo.
With just over 24 hours to go, time is running out for Nuno Espirito Santo to bring another centre-half to Molineux.
The Times report that Wolves have offered £30 million for Juventus star Daniele Rugani while a move to Lazio stopper Wallace is in danger of collapse due to concerns over his work permit, according to Cittaceleste.
And, with the deadline looming, reports from the continent claim that the Premier League high-flyers have now turned their attention to Spain international Llorente.
A versatile and technically gifted player who is equally comfortable in defensive midfield, Mundo Deportivo points out that Llorente is happy at La Real and has expressed no desire to leave the club this month.

Furthermore, the La Liga outfit has rejected Wolves’ £23 million offer. Llorente’s former club Real Madrid are due a substantial percentage of any transfer fee, meaning Sociedad want closer to £35 million in order to maximise profits.
So it remains to be seen whether Wolves are willing to add another £12 million onto their offer, or whether they simply look elsewhere instead.
