Premier League Wolverhampton Wanderers and Championship West Bromwich Albion appear to be planning for the January transfer window.

Both Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Bromwich Albion sent scouts to France over the weekend. But could the Midland rivals be going head to head for the same signing?
That is certainly a possibility with representatives of The Baggies and Wolves present as Bordeaux and Caen played out a rather uninspiring goalless draw with Ligue 1 rivals Caen on Sunday, as reported by G4E.
And while the game may not live too long in the memory, it will have provided West Brom and Wolves with some potentially vital information heading into the January transfer window.
The report adds that QPR also sent scouts to Bordeaux, though it remains to be seen who was the reason for the trip.

Francois Kamano is perhaps the most high-profile Bordeaux player right now, having scored seven goals in 12 Ligue 1 starts this season. Newcastle United, Fulham and Everton have all been linked with the versatile forward and he could bring a clinical touch to a Wolves side who once again squandered countless opportunities in Sunday’s 1-1 draw away at Arsenal.
West Brom, meanwhile, need a centre-back and 24-year-old Frenchman Alexander Djiku has stood out for Caen this season, helping his side record a fourth clean sheet of the Ligue 1 campaign.
