Christian Kouame’s impressive Serie A season could reportedly pave the way for a move to the Premier League with West Ham United.

West Ham United are set to watch Christian Kouame in action over the weekend as they continue to mull over a move for the Genoa star, as reported by Calciomercato.
The Hammers could be set to overhaul their strike force in the summer with Marko Arnautovic, Javier Hernandez, Lucas Perez and the out-of-contract Andy Carroll having all been linked with a move away from the London Stadium.
Calciomercato claims that West Ham are trying to conclude a deal that would see Roma striker Edin Dzeko reunite with his former Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini. But they also allegedly want Kouame to flank the Bosnian in a new-look forward partnership.
The skilful Ivory Coast international has scored four Serie A goals in an impressive debut season for Genoa and looks like their best hope of getting anything out of Saturday’s Derby della Lanterna clash against bitter rivals Sampdoria.

West Ham’s scouts will be in attendance at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
They are apparently ‘enthralled’ with Kouame but it remains to be seen whether they will pay the £23 million demanded by Genoa president Enrico Preziosi.
