Watford are demanding a huge fee for Spanish winger Deulofeu with Premier League rivals West Ham United reportedly interested.

West Ham United are interested in a shock deadline day move for Watford winger Gerard Deulofeu according to the Sun (live blog, 10.05am).
The Hammers spent huge fees on a number of exciting signings over the summer, including Felipe Anderson and Issa Diop, and are planning another big-money deal on the final day of January with Spain international Deulofeu on their radar.
The 24-year-old moved to Watford from Barcelona for £12 million in July and, after scoring three goals and providing a further three assists for the Hornets, is understood to have been the subject of an enquiry from West Ham.

Javi Gracia’s side have made it clear that they don’t want to sell, however. Watford have rejected a £22 million bid from AC Milan, where Deulofeu enjoyed an impressive loan spell in 2017, and are demanding £30 million.
Whether West Ham are willing to pay such a fee remains to be seen. A skilful yet enigmatic forward who is yet to really fulfil his vast potential, the one-time Everton loanee could form a thrilling partnership with Anderson in Manuel Pellegrini’s attack.
