Sam Byram has not really made an impact since swapping Championship giants Leeds United for West Ham United in 2016.

Big things were expected of Sam Byram when West Ham paid around £3.7 million to sign the highly-rated right-back from Leeds United just over two years ago, as reported by the Independent.
The full-back was the latest exciting youngster to emerge from Elland Road and he looked set to be a key first-team player in claret and blue for years to come. But, thanks in part to some ill-timed injuries, Byram has only made 17 Premier League starts for West Ham since January 2016, just two of those coming this season.
And with the Hammers eyeing a summer deal for Fulham’s Ryan Fredericks, the 25-year-old right-back who is out of contract at the end of this season, the future is looking bleak for Byram at the London Stadium.

Moyes has seemingly made Fredericks – a quick and powerful right-back who has six Championship assists to his name this season – one of his top summer targets.

The 24-year-old has found himself stuck behind the veteran Pablo Zabaleta this season and the Argentine has another year remaining on his contract, meaning he will still be a West Ham player next season.
The same, however, may not be said about Byram.
