West Ham United paid £4m to sign Lucas Perez from Premier League rivals Arsenal last summer but he has struggled under Manuel Pellegrini.

Lucas Perez wants to return to Spain this summer after just one season at West Ham United, according to Estadio Deportivo.
The striker joined the Hammers for £4 million last summer after he failed to impress during a two-year stint at London rivals Arsenal, as reported by the BBC. But Perez has scored just six goals in 19 games under Manuel Pellegrini.
He has also made a grand total of four Premier League starts, despite Javier Hernandez’s struggles, Andy Carroll’s injury issues and the uncertainty surrounding Marko Arnautovic’s future.
As a result, the 30-year-old would jump at the chance to kick-start his career in Spain this summer if West Ham are willing to cash in. Estadio Deportivo suggests that they would listen to offers with a move to Real Betis understood to be Perez’s priority.

Betis boss Quique Setien is a big fan of the jet-heeled forward, who was likened to Jamie Vardy during his 17 goal La Liga campaign with Deportivo La Coruna in 2015/16. The former Las Palmas coach has even encouraged Perez to seek a move away from the London Stadium.
Real Betis are also interested in Sociedad forward Juanmi, however, and it seems that it will be a case or one or the other.
