Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez has started just two Premier League games since Manuel Pellegrini took over at West Ham United.

The appointment of the attack-minded purist that is Manuel Pellegrini by West Ham United looked to be exactly what Javier Hernandez needed.
The Mexican hotshot never really lived up to expectations in his debut season at the London Stadium, not helped by the arrival of David Moyes, who barely played him at Manchester United, and Marko Arnautovic’s subsequent transformation from a winger into a centre-forward.
But the expected revival of ‘Chicharito’ hasn’t really gone to plan. Arnautovic has retained his position at the head of the attack – meaning Hernandez has started just two Premier League games all season under Pellegrini.

And reports from Turkey now suggest that his time in London could be short lived. Fanatik are claiming that Besiktas are still on the lookout for a new striker and have held positive talks with Hernandez’s representatives.
Fanatik adds that Besiktas initially wanted Stuttgart’s evergreen goalscorer Mario Gomez but have now turned their attention to West Ham – and it is understood that there is a very good chance that Hernandez could move to Turkey on loan for the rest of the season.
