Danny Ings could leave Liverpool for West Ham – allowing Premier League basement boys Swansea City to bring back Andre Ayew to the Liberty Stadium.

Andre Ayew is one of the few West Ham players who does not appear to have benefitted from the appointment of David Moyes.
The Ghanaian attacker was a rare bright spark for The Hammers in the drawn-out final days of Slaven Bilic’s reign but, so far, has made four appearances under Moyes – three of those coming from the bench.
And The Sun went as far as to claim that West Ham are hoping to send Ayew back to Swansea City in January – 18 months after the London giants paid £20 million to take the former Marseille star from the Liberty Stadium.

If Ayew has no place at West Ham, he’d be welcomed back with open arms at Swansea. Ayew scored 12 Premier League goals in his single season in South Wales, and would be a fine signing for Paul Clement’s shot-shy side, who are bottom of the table after Monday’s 3-1 loss at Everton.
And according to The Standard’s live transfer blog (19th December), West Ham already have a replacement in mind in the shape of Liverpool striker Danny Ings.
The 25-year-old made his first Premier League appearance in almost a year-and-a-half in the recent Merseyside derby clash with Everton but, after recovering from as serious knee injury, is likely to be loaned out by Liverpool to get some regular first-team football under his belt.

And Moyes is understood to be keen to take Ings, a penalty box poacher who scored 11 times for Burnley in 2014/15, to the London Stadium in January.
If Ings does arrive, that could be the catalyst for Swansea to bring Ayew back to the Liberty.
