West Ham United reportedly still want to bring Croatia World Cup star Domagoj Vida to the Premier League from Besiktas but Monaco are keen, too.

Reports that Liverpool had agreed a deal to sign Croatia’s World Cup finalist Domagoj Vida might have been a little premature.
Because West Ham United appear to be still very much in the race to sign the 29-year-old Besiktas defender before the English transfer window shuts in the second week of August.
The Hammers have already allegedly seen a £22 million bid for Vida rejected but Manuel Pellegrini’s big spending side will not give up just yet.
Fanatik are claiming that West Ham are now preparing another bid to bring Vida to the Premier League. It is reported that French giants Monaco have offered £27 million, but Besiktas will wait to see how much the London club are willing to pay before making their decision.

Vida was one of the stars of the World Cup, forming a formidable partnership alongside Dejan Lovren as Croatia beat the likes of Argentina, Russia and England en route to the final, where they lost 4-2 to France in unfortunate circumstances.
Vida would be another expensive addition to West Ham’s roster, with the club having already spent huge fees on the likes of Felipe Anderson, Issa Diop and Andriy Yarmolenko this summer.
It remains to be seen whether they are willing to match Monaco’s £27 million offer for Vida.
