Andre Gomes shone in the Premier League with Everton but will Barcelona accept a new bid from West Ham United?

West Ham United are set to make a new £20 million bid for Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes, according to Football London.
This time last year, Gomes was the odd one out in a talented Barca team, his form and confidence suffering an alarming dip after that ill-fated £31 million move from Valencia in the summer of 2016.
But the Portugal international looked a player reborn after he joined Everton on loan in the final day of the transfer window, producing a series of sublime performances in the centre of the park as The Toffees beat the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United in front of their own supporters.
And while Everton would love to sign Gomes on a permanent basis, they will face competition from a West Ham side who saw an initial £18 million bid turned down in May.

They have not been deterred just yet, however, and Football London claims that they will now make a new and improved £20 million offer.
This is unlikely to sway Barcelona, however, with the La Liga champions demanding closer to £30 million for the re-born play-maker.
