Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham United reportedly want to bring Carlos Tevez’s teammate Benedetto to the Premier League this summer.

West Ham United are preparing a bid to bring Argentina international Dario Benedetto to the London Stadium, according to TEAMtalk.
It is no secret that the Hammers will make signing a new striker a priority in the summer with Andy Carroll, Lucas Perez, Javier Hernandez and Marko Arnautovic all heavily tipped to leave Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
And 28-year-old Benedetto, a five-cap Argentine goal-machine, has apparently been identified as a new addition.
TEAMtalk claims that the Boca Juniors number nine is set to move to Europe for the first time this summer and has his heart set on a move to England, despite interest from Italian giants Inter Milan and AS Roma.

Benedetto scored 14 times last season but has found goals much harder to come by in 2018/19, hitting the target on four occasions in 19 games. And TEAMtalk adds that West Ham will have to pay around £20 million to bring the old-school centre-forward to London.
Interestingly, Benedetto is currently playing alongside Carlos Tevez at Boca; the West Ham legend who almost single handily saved the club from relegation in 2007.
