West Ham United reportedly want to sign Alfie Mawson and Lukasz Fabianski from relegated side Swansea City.

Lukasz Fabianski and Alfie Mawson are set to lead the exodus from Swansea City this summer after the South Wales side were relegated from the Premier League.
And, according to Sky Sports, West Ham United made a double bid for the goalkeeper and the centre-back as Manuel Pellegrini aims to reinforce his squad this summer. But just because Swansea are a Championship side after seven years in the top flight, it does not mean they will let Fabianski and Mawson leave on the cheap.

It is understood that Swansea are resigned to losing arguably their top two performers of last season, particularly Fabianski, who has reportedly told the club he wants to leave with just a year left on his contract.

But it seems that West Ham will have to pay even more than £30 million to sign them both this summer. It is understood that Pellegrini has been handed a budget of £75 million to spend on new players and wanted two new centre-backs: Mawson and Barcelona’s Marlon Santos.
After the devastating ligament injury suffered by Manuel Lanzini on international duty with Argentina, however, Pellegrini will have to buy a new creative midfielder, which is likely to take up a decent portion of his funds.
