Besiktas’s World Cup hero Domagoj Vida is understood to be a target for Liverpool and West Ham United.

With Everton and Liverpool both seemingly stepping up their pursuit of Croatian World Cup star Domagoj Vida, it should not be forgotten that West Ham United have also been tracking the 29-year-old of late.
The Hammers were linked as far back as May 2017, via the Mirror, when Vida was still playing in Ukraine for Dinamo Kiev. Flash forward over a year and he is now one of the most coveted defenders in European football.
Everton and Liverpool are reported to have made bids recently, but it seems they have now been joined by West Ham.
According to Sabah, West Ham have made an offer of around £20 million; allegedly the same fee that Liverpool put on the table. Everton are lagging a little further behind, with their bid understood to be around £5 million less.

Besiktas have made no secret of the fact that they want about £30 million for a player they signed on a free just a few months ago, however, meaning West Ham would probably have to raise their bid.
Vida is a tough and uncompromising defender who shone as Croatia reached the World Cup final for the first time. He was arguably the best player on the pitch in the last-four win against England.
