Premier League West Ham United might have missed out on Yann Karamoh again with Serie A giants Inter Milan playing hardball.

In June 2017, Goal stated that West Ham United saw a bid of £8.7 million rejected by Ligue 1 side Caen for the highly-rated winger Yann Karamoh.

And, one year on, it seems The Hammers are set to miss out on the talented Frenchman once again.

Karamoh joined Inter Milan instead last summer and, despite starting just four games in Serie A, has excited supporters when given an opportunity to show off his considerable talents. He scored a stunning individual goal against Bologna in February which ended a run of 10 games without a win in all competitions.

So, understandably, Inter are not looking to part company with the 19-year-old over the coming months – which West Ham might just have discovered.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, West Ham have attempted to sign Karamoh on loan for next season but Inter have refused point-blank to let the teenager leave on a temporary basis.

The report does suggest that an Inter side restricted by Financial Fair Play might just consider a permanent offer for the erratic yet gifted winger, amid alleged interest from Monaco who could look to replace Keita Balde Diao.

But West Ham would surely have to pay far more than the £8.7 million they were willing to pay Caen last summer. So it seems that The Hammers could miss out on Karamoh for the second year in succession.
