A host of Premier League clubs have been linked with Bristol City’s Championship star Joe Bryan; now West Ham United are among them.

It seems that Joe Bryan has outgrown his boyhood club.
Bristol City’s failure to reach the play-offs in a disappointing second half of the season means their homegrown left-back is almost certain to be on his way out of Ashton Gate this summer, with a number of Premier League sides keen.
The Mirror (25 July, page 49) claims there is interest from Wolves, Newcastle United and Bournemouth, although the latter have now signed Diego Rico from Leganes for £10.6 million.
However a new name in the frame is West Ham United. Despite the presence of both Aaron Cresswell and Arthur Masuaku at the London Stadium, the Mirror adds that the Hammers are also in the race to sign Bryan before the transfer window slams shut.

The 24-year-old can play at left-back or on the wing, potentially giving Manuel Pellegrini more options on the flank. And, with Cresswell being re-purposed as a left-sided centre-half of late, Bryan could perhaps be used as back-up to the influential Masuaku.
He scored seven goals in all competitions for Bristol City in 2017/18, including a long-range stunner in their famous EFL Cup quarter-final win against Manchester United.
And the Sun (July 25, page 51) adds that Bristol City need to cash in on Bryan as he has rejected a new deal and has just one year left on his contract. He is valued at £6 million.
