West Ham United are one of a number of clubs reportedly targeting Benfica’s Primeira Liga wonder-kid Felix.

West Ham United have stepped up their interest in Benfica wonder-kid Joao Felix, according to AS.
The 19-year-old attacker has been a revelation in the Primeira Liga this season, capping a staggering breakthrough season with six goals and three assists in just 12 domestic appearances. Felix even become the youngest player to score in a Lisbon derby during Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Sporting.
Compared to Cristiano Ronaldo, and labelled by some as better than Kylian Mbappe, it is no surprise that some of Europe’s biggest clubs are lining up to sign ‘Hurricane Felix’ as soon as possible.
According to AS, West Ham have announced their intentions by asking Benfica how much they want for the gifted teenager.
Unfortunately for the Hammers, it is understood that the Eagles will not sell for a penny less than his £105 million release clause. Benfica turned down a £50 million bid from an unnamed Premier League club in the January transfer window.

AS adds that West Ham will face competition from Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus, AC Milan, Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund, Monaco and PSG.
Sky Sports claimed in August that West Ham were in advanced talks to sign Felix but they might be kicking themselves now after failing to get a deal over the line.
