Italian international Franco Vazquez is being tipped to leave La Liga club Sevilla for Premier League side West Ham United.

Manuel Lanzini might not be stuck on the sidelines for quite as long as some had feared, but the Argentine play-maker’s absence until the new year will leave West Ham without their most creative player.
No wonder Manuel Pellegrini wants a replacement in the number ten role.
Vazquez is a different kind of play-maker to Lanzini, given that he has often played in a more central attacking role than the deep-lying Argentina international. But the 29-year-old would still give the Hammers some spark in attack.
The 29-year-old scored four goals and set up six more for Sevilla in La Liga last season.

Although it must be pointed out that Vazquez has never quite lived up to expectations in Spain. Sevilla looked to have pulled off a coup when they landed him from Palermo in 2016, but the 6ft 1ins attacker was most definitely at his best in Italy.
Vazquez formed a superb partnership with Paolo Dybala in 2014/15, scoring and assisting 20 goals in Serie A. Yet Pellegrini’s reputation for getting the best out of play-makers would certainly suit Vazquez well at West Ham.
