West Ham United are reported to have sent a delegation to Portugal in order to sign the Algerian international Brahimi.

Yacine Brahimi has been linked with a move to the Premier League a lot in recent seasons. And it seems that it could finally happen this summer.
According to ESPN, West Ham United have sent a delegation to Portugal in order to negotiate a deal for the Algerian international winger, who starred as Porto won the Primeira Liga title for the first time in five years last season.
Brahimi scored nine goals and set up a further seven in 32 league starts, rediscovering his best form under Sergio Conceicao after a difficult year working alongside the current Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo.
ESPN understands, however, that Porto are ready to cash in on the 28-year-old as he has just one year left on his contract and West Ham are ready to pounce. The London club have been firm admirers of Brahimi for some time and his arrival would add further creativity to a new-look West Ham attack.

Since the arrival of new manager Manuel Pellegrini, the Hammers have spent big on Lazio’s Felipe Anderson and Borussia Dortmund’s Ukrainian international Andriy Yarmolenko.
The quick and direct Brahimi, named the BBC’s African Footballer of the Year in 2014, could replace the injured Manuel Lanzini on the left side of West Ham’s midfield.
