Adrian has not made a Premier League appearance for West Ham United this season and a return to La Liga with Real Betis is a possibility.

West Ham United goalkeeper Adrian could return to former club Real Betis this summer, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The 32-year-old shot-stopper has played for the Hammers since 2013, having moved to the Premier League on a free transfer when his contract at Betis came to an end.

And his career could come full circle this summer with the Andalusian outfit looking to bring Adrian back home without spending a penny.

The Spaniard is expected to bid farewell to West Ham at the end of his sixth Premier League season at the club. Adrian, who made just five appearances in 2018/19, will be a free agent in July and he appeared to wave farewell to supporters after Sunday’s 4-1 thrashing of Watford.

And, according to Mundo Deportivo, a return to the Beticos is on the cards.

Quique Setien’s side are looking at a number of goalkeepers with their current number one Pau Lopez potentially on his way to Barcelona for around £30 million.

Adrian is one of a number of options they are considering, along with Eibar’s impressive Serbia international Marko Dmitrovic (below), Alaves ‘keeper Fernando Pacheco and Rayo Vallecano’s Stole Dimitrievski.
