Real Sociedad’s La Liga ace Diego Llorente continues to be linked with the Premier League with Fulham and West Ham United now reportedly keen.

Real Sociedad’s decision to pay £6 million for Diego Llorente in the summer of 2017 looks like a fine investment now. Because the Basque club can expect to make a major profit on a centre-back who has come on leaps and bounds in La Liga.
According to Cadena Ser last week, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Newcastle United are all interested in Llorente, who was rewarded for his fine form with a second cap for the Spanish national team in the November international break.
Now, Mundo Deportivo has thrown two more names into the mix for the former Real Madrid youngster – big spending London duo West Ham United and Fulham.
Fulham’s interest in the commanding centre-back is understandable, given that they have conceded a remarkable 34 goals in just 13 Premier League games this season.
The report adds that West Ham sent scouts to watch Llorente in Sociedad’s 3-1 away win at Levante earlier this month, while representatives from Liverpool were also at the Cuitat de Valencia.

Llorente, who scored seven goals in all competitions last season and is a major threat from set-pieces, has a release clause in his contract worth £45 million – but Real Madrid have an option to bring him back to the Bernabau for half that fee.
Considering that only Huesca have conceded more goals away from home in La Liga this season than Los Blancos, it would not be a surprise if Madrid wanted to enhance their back-line in January.
