Martin Skrtel could reportedly return to the Premier League in January with Crystal Palace, Southampton and West Ham United keen to sign him.

Martin Skrtel could be about to make a shock return to the Premier League this month.
The 34-year-old centre-back hasn’t been seen in England since he left Liverpool in the summer of 2016, moving to Turkey with Fenerbahce. But according to Fanatik, it seems that Skrtel has one more chapter to write on British shores.
Southampton, Crystal Palace and West Ham United are all understood to be keen to sign the Slovakian international in the January transfer window and they could be in luck given that Fenerbahce are in a rather testing financial situation.
Skrtel is an experienced, tough-tackling and proven centre-back but any interested suitors should not overlook the fact that he has been a shadow of his former self in a dreadful season for Fener.

The Istanbul giants are shockingly 17th in an 18-team Super Lig table.
And Skrtel would not come cheap either. He was tipped to reunite with Steven Gerrard at Rangers in the summer, only for his agent, Karol Csonto, to point out that the Scottish Premiership powerhouses would not be able to afford his hefty wage demands (Daily Record).
