Stoke City’s Championship attacker Diouf could make a shock return to the Premier League with West Ham United or Burnley.

West Ham United and Burnley are interested in bringing Mame Biram Diouf back to the Premier League today, according to the Sun (live blog, 10.53am).
It is no secret that the Hammers and the Clarets have been on the lookout for a new centre-forward this month and it appears that Stoke City’s Senegal international has emerged as a potential target on deadline day.
31-year-old Diouf has plenty of top flight experience, having played Premier League football for Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers before joining Stoke in 2014.
However, he would not be the most inspiring or high-profile addition. Diouf scored just 23 top flight goals for Stoke and has found himself out of favour in the Championship this season, starting just six matches for the Potters.
Surely West Ham or Burnley could do better.

The Sun adds that Hull City are also interested in offering Diouf an escape out of the Bet 365 Stadium.
Nigel Adkins’ side have gone from relegation candidates to play-off dark horses in recent months and their interest in Diouf comes amid fears over the future of both Jarrod Bowen and Kamil Grosicki.
