Fulham reportedly missed out on St Etienne’s Ligue 1 ace Selnaes but Premier League duo West Ham United and Brighton are allegedly keen now.

Ole Selnaes could make a belated move to the Premier League in the January transfer window.
The Norwegian international, who plays in France for St Etienne, was heavily linked with a switch to Fulham in the summer, with TEAMtalk claiming in August that the Cottagers had made an unsuccessful loan bid.
Five months later, however, Selnaes could finally make the journey across The Channel. Because, according to Peuple Vert, he has Premier League admirers in the shape of West Ham United and Brighton and Hove Albion.
West Ham are in need of an energetic central midfielder to act as a long-term successor for Mark Noble and Selnaes, a tough tackling and dynamic player who has tallied five assists and six yellow cards in Ligue 1 this season, would fit the bill.

The 24-year-old, who moved to St Etienne from Rosenborg in 2016, would also suit Chris Hughton’s Brighton side thanks to his blend of work-rate and technical ability.
The report adds that St Etienne want about £18 million for their key man.
